Kathmandu. Police have arrested four persons in possession of stolen goods and cash.

The arrestees have been identified as 21-year-old Sameer BK and 23-year-old Subash BK of Jyotinagar in Gulariya municipality-5, Bardiya, Ramesh Sadashanker, 28, of Belkotgadhi municipality-7 in Nuwakot and Sandesh Shreepali of 23-year-old of Bansgadhi municipality-7 in Bardiya.

A police team deputed from Kirtipur Police Circle arrested them at around 1.30 pm on Sunday while stealing petrol from a motorcycle (Ba 29 Pa 242) parked at a house at Kirtipur municipality-9. ”

Police confiscated Rs 56,000 in cash, 40 idols made of copper metal, 15 bundles of cigarettes (10 packets in one bundle), six anoreid mobile phones, four keypad mobile phones, one pair of gold earrings, two gold necklaces, two headbands, one pair of silver anklets, a motorcycle (State 3-02-007 Pa 9386) and a motorcycle (Ba 25 Pa 6870) and 10 helmets from them.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said Bhattarai.
