Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. The exchange rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 148.07 for buying and Rs 148.67 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate of Euro 1 was set at Rs 173.44 and the selling rate of Euro 1 was set at Rs 174.14, while the selling rate of UK Pound Sterling was set at Rs 199.01 and the selling rate of Swiss Franc 1 was set at Rs 187.61 and Rs 188.37.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 104.69 paise and the selling rate is 105.11 paise, the selling rate of one Canadian dollar is 107.03 paise and the selling rate is 107.46 paise.

The buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.30 and selling rate was Rs 9.34, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 21.68 and the selling rate was Rs 21.77.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.61 and selling rate is Rs 4.63, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 40.31 and the selling rate is Rs 40.47, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 37.34 and the selling rate is Rs 37.50. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 15.99 and Rs 16.05 for selling and Rs 23.30 for Danish kroner.

According to NRB, the buying rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is 18.90 rupees and the selling rate is 18.98 rupees, the buying rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is 483.10 and the selling rate is 485.06 paise, Bahrain Dinar 1 is 392.65 paise and the selling rate is 394.25 paise. Similarly, the selling rate of Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 160.15 respectively.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate set by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
