Kathmandu. The weather is partly cloudy in most parts of the country at present due to the partial influence of the Westerly and local winds.

There will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and mainly fair in the Tarai region. Light rain is taking place in one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi Province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces towards the afternoon.

Similarly, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi Province and Province in the rest of the country.

Temperature is increasing in most places of the country and there is possibility of heat in some places including the Tarai of Lumbini and the Tarai of the Sudurpaschim Province.
