Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Police Range has arrested 309 people for their alleged involvement in various illegal activities in the past six months.

Spokesperson of the Range and Superintendent of Police Pawa Kumar Bhattarai said that cases have been filed against 61 of the arrested.

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Police arrested 21 middlemen for harassing service seekers at various public offices, 136 for harassing the public, 128 for sexual activities and 24 for hooliganism.

Spokesperson Bhattarai said that 20 women who came to Nepal from Uganda for running a sex business have been deported from the Department of Immigration for a year.
