Kathmandu. U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Paul Kapoor held discussions with industry leaders on expanding U.S. business opportunities in Nepal’s information and communications technology sector.
Discussions were held on expanding and strengthening digital infrastructure, increasing the use of artificial intelligence and strengthening cyber security. Ways to share U.S. technological expertise were also discussed at the meeting. US Assistant Secretary of State Paul also held a meeting with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane on Monday.
“It was a pleasure to meet Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) President Lamichhane. We got an opportunity to know about the priorities of the RSP in the new government,” he said in the social media. US Assistant Secretary of State Paul arrived in Kathmandu on Monday.
