Nawalparasi. A total of 12 houses have been gutted in Bhairampur of Pratappur-5 in West Nawalparasi. It has caused a loss of more than Rs 4 crore.

According to Bir Dutta Panta, information officer at the District Police Office, all the houses have been reduced to ashes.

The damage is estimated to be worth Rs 4.44 crore, including cash and other items.

Meanwhile, Pratappur Rural Municipality and Nepal Red Cross Society have distributed relief materials to the fire victims.

Member of the House of Representatives, Bikram Khanal, said that he was active to provide relief materials to the victims.
