KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank Limited and Everest Hospital have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide special discount on health services to the bank’s customers.

The agreement was signed by the bank’s Chief Transaction Banking Chief Mr. Narendra Mainali and Chief Administrative Officer of Nepal Cancer Hospital, Mr. Deepak Chandra Baral.

As per the agreement, the bank’s customers will get upto 15% discount while paying digital payments (excluding outsourced services, doctors consultation and ambulance fees) at Everest Hospital, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.

Similarly, a 5 percent discount will be available on surgery and 10 percent discount on the purchase of medicines from the hospital’s pharmacy. To avail this facility, customers will have to pay using the bank’s debit card, credit card or mobile banking app ‘Mobank’.
