At present, the weather is generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly parts of the country including Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Province while the weather is mainly clear in the Tarai region of the Sudurpaschim Province. Moderate rain and snowfall is taking place in some places of Koshi, Gandaki and Lumbini Province and one or two places of Bagmati Province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while it will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

Moderate rain and snowfall is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at some places of hilly and mountainous parts of Madhes, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Likewise, there is a possibility of rain in one or two places of the Tarai region of Lumbini Province. Temperature is likely to rise in the Tarai of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly region of the country tonight while it will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region. Light rain and snowfall is likely at some places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Also, the temperature is expected to increase gradually in most parts of the country. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted that the temperature will increase in the Terai, valley and valley of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. The Meteorological Department has requested the people of these areas to take precautions.
