Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of westerly and local winds in Nepal as well as the low pressure area near the eastern part of Nepal. Most of the hilly and mountainous areas of the country including Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are cloudy while the rest of the country is partly cloudy. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is taking place at some places of Gandaki Province and at one or two places of Bagmati Province and Karnali Province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces towards the afternoon. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain along with thundershower and snowfall at many places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at some places of Karnali and ÷Sudurpaschim provinces.

Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is predicted at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi Province. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of gusty winds at some places of the Tarai region.

Similarly, tonight, there will be cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while generally cloudy will occur in the Terai region. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of heavy ÷rainfall along with thunder and lightning at many places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at some places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Likewise, moderate to moderate rain and snowfall is likely at one or two places of the Tarai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is possibility of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region.
