Kathmandu. Rabi Lamichhane, who is also the president of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP), has issued a 12-point directive to the lawmakers. He issued a 12-point directive to the lawmakers at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar.

He gave various instructions to the lawmakers on contemporary political issues and roles. He also shared that the ministries would hold ministry-wise discussions with the secretaries of the ministries at regular intervals between the lawmakers and the ministers. He said that there is no RSP for those who want to become the boss but it is for the servants and facilitators.

He also informed the lawmakers about the ordinance recommended by the government to the President and the party’s views on the management of squatters.

Instructions

1) There shall be a ministerial interaction between the Member of Parliament and the Minister at a fixed interval with the Secretary of the Ministry.

2) The government has changed, now the culture of power and public service needs to change. This is an important priority now.

3) “The National Independent Party is not for those who want to be the bosses. This party is for servants and facilitators. “

4) Hello, work is being done to make the government more effective and to track the status of the work being done on complaints.

5) MPs should be able to coordinate at all levels, but the main priority is to make laws. But in that case, it does not try to become the law itself.

6) It is necessary to stop the discrimination and accidents happening in the society on the pretext of inter-caste marriage, instructions to take initiative for this. However, the MP should not forget his dignity by getting emotional on the spot.

7) The government is aware of the impact of the Gulf conflict on market prices. We are working seriously.

8) Everyone is requested to work responsibly at their level in the organization building.

9) Squatters in vulnerable locations have been easily relocated to a safe place by repeatedly informing them. The government is working responsibly in data collection and management. If any more alertness is needed, it is requested to draw its attention. There is concern about the safe shelter of the citizens who are forced to live near the drainage, on the banks of the floods, and it is the duty of the government to worry about the future of all. A special commission will be formed to look into such problems across the country. But in the meantime, the government will not make anyone homeless. The government takes responsibility for the food, shelter, cotton, and employment opportunities of all homeless citizens. The government will not allow any slum dwellers to become homeless, suggestions for necessary coordination are welcome. But it should not be unnecessarily politicised. It is wrong to do politics of “vote bank” by forcing someone to live near the risk of floods and drainage.

10) Regarding Ordinance: The expectations of the people from this government cannot be fulfilled unless the unnecessary brokerage and wrong appointments of the past are corrected. Earlier, ordinances were used to split parties or bring opponents into custody. The current practice is not meant to hurt or facilitate anyone, it is for the necessary improvement. This move is an exercise being done within the legal framework. The practice of the Parliamentary Committee even when the main opposition party did not ask for a word shows how serious the National Independent Party is towards the law, political behavior and democratic system. In the past, there are many examples of MPs of the Prime Minister’s own party becoming the Chairman of the Accounts Committee. We wanted to correct that, we wanted to be honest.

11) Many constitutional commissions and commissions have vacancies, have practical difficulties in taking important decisions, or are forced to run by a compromise. In many cases, you can’t just wait for time. To work according to the expectations of the people, some activism and polite political aggression are needed.

12) There will be regular discussions, if there is any confusion or difficulty in performing my duties as a people’s representative, I am always available to facilitate the need. It is requested not to wait for the meeting and to put your point of view in writing. If anyone is interested in joining the party, they are welcome, but they are requested to come to the organization and prove it.
