Most of the places in the country are cloudy at present due to the influence of the low pressure area in the lower atmosphere. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds is taking place at many places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at some places of Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.

The weather will be generally to completely cloudy throughout the country today. Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous region while heavy snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous regions.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of the country and partly cloudy in the hilly region tonight. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, moderate rain and snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
