Jhapa. As many as 13 students were injured in a bus accident at Kachankabal rural municipality-3 this morning.

The bus (Pra 1-01-001 Kha 4482) of Bidapani Secondary School carrying students met with an accident. The bus hit the motorcycle (Pra 1-01-013 Pa 3482) while it was heading towards Ambari from Durgabhitta, according to Information Officer at the District Police Office, Khagendra Bahadur Khadka. Thirteen of the 18 students on the bus were injured in the accident.

The injured 11 are undergoing treatment at Manmohan Community Hospital in Birtamode. Motorcyclist Om Prasad Timsina, 52, of Kachankabal-3 sustained injuries to his mouth, head and leg. The bus driver is absconding, police said.
