Kathmandu. Nabil Bank Limited has inaugurated Nabil Nursing Room at Tindhara.

Member of the Board of Directors of the bank Sarita Bhatta Adhikari inaugurated the inauguration ceremony by cutting the ribbon in the presence of the bank’s Chairman Nirvana Chaudhary and CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali.

Nabil Bank, which has been giving high importance to the welfare of its employees, has established the nursing room with the aim of making breastfeeding easier for the employees working in the bank. The bank believes that the nursing room will provide a dignified, comfortable and safe breastfeeding environment for employees during office hours.

“Through the launch of this chamber, we have fulfilled our responsibility towards our employees. This will help the employee mothers feel safe with their children inside the office,” said Sarita Bhatta Adhikari, a member of the Board of Directors.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Nirvana Chaudhary said that the nursing room is a great beginning from the bank. Chairman Chaudhary further shared, “Gender equality, employee interest are some of the core values of Nabil Bank and this section that opened today reflects our values and values.”

“Although small in appearance, this step will have a positive impact on our employees and this cell will be expanded to other branches in the coming days, not only in the central office,” he added.

Through such efforts, Nabil Bank is promoting a caring environment for the employees and to foster a supportive environment.

Nabil Bank has 268 branches and 318 ATMs across the country. The bank said it will continue to provide banking services to more than 25 lakh customers and join hands with all its stakeholders. The bank, which has been providing quality banking services for the past four decades, has recently adopted the concept of sustainable banking and brought into operation N-Bank for digital banking.
