Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah said banning the party flag in schools and the use of party bags in the bureaucracy would not take away the rights of the students and employees.

Sharing his views on social media Facebook, PM Shah said that the partyization of students and bureaucracy that has been entrenched for years has destroyed the country’s system.

“Many journalists, leaders, campaigners, businessmen and the general public have been saying the same thing for years,” he said, adding that the party has spoiled the students and bureaucracy. The price of accessibility was increased over qualifications, bags and flags were increased over capacity. This undermined people’s faith in the system.

He clarified that the party’s decision to remove politics from education and bureaucracy was not for the failure to build an organization, but to improve the quality of education and protect the dignity of employees. He said, “If we want, we can form big organizations in the present day but the past has shown that adding another partisan organization will not bring improvement.” ’

The Prime Minister said that method, capacity and efficiency should be the basis of transfer and promotion, not partisan affiliation.

“Our only effort is that students learn politics from their gurus and not from the crowd of leaders,” he said. The bureaucrats should look for the method, not the shadow of the leader. We want students to learn politics but the politics of civility, ideas and responsibility. Bureaucrats should learn to serve the people, not belong to any party. ’

Stating that the government’s move was not a fight against any political party but an attempt to save the system, he said it was an attempt to save the future and bring the country out of partisan control and on the institutional path.

“This is an effort to free schools and bureaucracy from partisan politics. Therefore, as per your wishes, we have removed these anomalies through an ordinance. ’

He said that the government expects everyone’s support and trust in this work. “We need your support, we need trust, because change comes not through speeches, but through decisions,” he said. We have come to the government to work as per your people’s wishes. Rest assured, whatever we do, we will do it in the interest of the common Nepali people. ’
