Kathmandu. The government has appointed senior doctor and medical educator Prof. Dr. Jagdish Prasad Agrawal has been appointed as the honorary health advisor to Prime Minister Balen Shah. A cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to appoint Agrawal to the post.

Agrawal is also the former dean of the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University. Dr. Agarwal will serve as a specialist without receiving any remuneration or financial benefits from the state, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
