Kavrepalanchok. The BP Highway, which was obstructed by floods, has been reopened after three days. Vehicular movement has been resumed on this road since this morning by making a temporary diversion.

The District Police Office has urged one and all not to travel on this route except essential as rainfall has continued. Last Monday, the road was blocked due to the flood in the Roshi River along with the rainfall.

The police have started stopping the vehicular movement as it damages the temporary diversion constructed along the four kilometers stretch of Roshi area with the onset of rain. Due to the obstruction, the vehicles are kept at Dhulikhel, Kavrebhanjyang, Mangaltar and Nepalthok of Sindhuli.

Last year, landslides swept away 18-km road at Chaukidanda, Roshi and Nepalthok areas of Sindhuli. Currently, road construction is underway in the area.
