Ilam. Land ownership certificates have been distributed to 378 families under the management of landless Dalits, landless squatters and unsystematic settlers through the Land Problems Resolution Commission, Ilam.

According to Prakash Adhikari, coordinator of the district committee, the government has decided to register the land used by 445 families so far. The family was issued 593 plots of land ownership certificates. According to the Commission, Rs 1,86,31,495 revenue has been collected from the distribution and registration of certificates.

Similarly, the process of measurement of 738 families, determination of revenue and land registration has reached the final stage. A total of 20,174 applications were collected in the district in coordination and cooperation with the local governments.

A total of 248 applications were registered from the landless Dalits, 857 from the landless squatters and 18,910 from the unsystematic settlers. Among them, 1,926 applications are in the verification process.
