Tekpaila Innovations signs MoU with Kantipur City College: AI and Cyber Security Education

Kathmandu. Tekpaila Innovations Pvt. Ltd. and Kantipur City College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bridge the gap between Nepal’s education sector and the IT industry.

The partnership aims to help students advance their careers by equipping them with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Chiranjibi Adhikari, Associate Director of Tekpaila Innovations and Raju Kattel, Principal of Kantipur City College, signed the agreement amidst a function held in the college premises on Thursday.

This collaboration sets a strong framework for high-end technical training and professional development. With the growing demand for AI and cybersecurity experts in the global market, this partnership builds promise to not only limit Nepali students to just theoretical knowledge but also industry ready ones.

TechPaila will conduct specialized technical workshops and seminars for KCC students and faculty, focusing on AI and cybersecurity. Qualified students will gain hands-on experience in TechPaila and will also get employment opportunities in various industries within the organization’s network.

Together, the two institutions will help in refining the college curriculum in line with the current demands and global technology standards. Hackathons, Idea Fests and Industry-Academia Dialogues will be jointly organized to develop creative thinking among students.

Speaking on the occasion, Chiranjibi Adhikari stressed on the importance of practical practice in the field of technology. The partnership will be an important milestone for the local technology ecosystem. The agreement aims to modernize the curriculum and provide students with the mentorship and tools they need to solve real problems

Principal of Kantipur City College, Raju Kattel, said the college was committed to providing the best resources and resources. “KCC has always been at the forefront of information technology education. The agreement also supports the development of AI-based solutions for security audit and social impact. The agreement has been signed for two years initially. Both sides are committed to further expanding this agreement in the future.
