Finance Minister assures private sector: No list of arrests of industrialists

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has urged the industrialists and businessmen of the private sector not to go after the rumour that the government is arresting them.

He said this at a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday. “The government has not made any list of arrests and arrests of private sector entrepreneurs. Don’t be behind rumors, you are our partners. “

On the occasion, Finance Minister Dr Wagle said that the private sector was a partner in the government’s plan to create a $100 billion economy. He also outlined the government’s five priorities. According to him, good governance is the first priority of the government. The second is the revival of the economy and the third is internal and external connectivity in the country. The fourth priority is social investment and the fifth is the expansion of soft power through tourism, culture and history.

Stating that the country was on the verge of turning the ship of economy, he urged the industrialists and entrepreneurs to wait for the same until the next budget.
