Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a charge-sheet at the Special Court against Mahendra Kumar Das, chief of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Kanchanpur distribution centre.
A team from the CIAA had arrested him a few days ago while taking a bribe of Rs 1.40 lakh from a service recipient for the purpose of leaving the transmission line for the charging station.
CIAA Spokesperson Suresh Neupane said that the case has been filed at the Special Court demanding action against Das as per the case.
