Kathmandu. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Navin Srivastava paid a courtesy call on Minister for Health, Population and Water Supply Nisha Mehta at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Health, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, the two leaders discussed various aspects of the centuries-old historic and deepening relations between Nepal and India as well as the ongoing bilateral cooperation in health sector, said Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari.
On the occasion, Minister Mehta expressed gratitude to the Government of India for its continued support and goodwill for the development of health, drinking water and sanitation sector in Nepal.
During the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening the national-level premier health science institutions of Nepal, establishment of specialized treatment centres and further strengthening of Indian cooperation and cooperation in the development of comprehensive health infrastructure.
