Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The government has formed a committee to study and investigate the issues related to former home minister Sudhan Gurung.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on May 12 decided to form a committee comprising former judge of the High Court Achyut Prasad Bhandari as chairperson, Auditor General Shobhakanta Poudel and Joint Attorney General Achyut Mani Neupane as members.

According to Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s press and research expert Deepa Dahal, the committee has been given the responsibility to submit its report within 15 days after fact-finding and investigation into the issues raised publicly about former Home Minister Gurung.
