Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has cancelled the license of a money changer based in Birgunj. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the license of Puja Mani Changer Pvt Ltd operated in Ghantaghar, Birgunj-08, Parsa district has been revoked after it failed to renew its license within the stipulated time.
According to the sub-rule (3) of By-law 19 of the Money Changer License and Inspection Byelaw-2077 (with fourth amendment) issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the license can be revoked if the license is not renewed.
According to the NRB, it has been decided to cancel the license of the company to carry out transactions in Indian rupees.
