According to Madan Pokharel, secretary of the association, the consumer price has been fixed at Rs 25 per piece.TAG_OPEN_div_24 Earlier, the large egg was set at 485 and the medium egg was 435. Nepal Layers Poultry Owners Association president Binod Pokharel said the price of eggs has gone up due to the increase in consumption as well as the production of eggs due to the hot summer. “There is a shortage of human resources as farmers have left poultry farming. Chickens have died due to various diseases, which have reduced egg production. ”

Similarly, Shivam Poultry Birgunj’s big egg at Rs 3,960, Majhauta at Rs 3,760, Lakshya Poultry Chitwan at Rs 3,980 per box, Madhyamauta at Rs 3,780 per box, Khakhana Agro Dang at Rs 3,975 per box, Majhauta at Rs 3,775 per box, National Kaji Agro Kailali at Rs 3,965 per box.TAG_OPEN_div_18 The price has been fixed at Rs 3,765.
