Board of Secondary Education Board (CBI) has given permission to 24 companies to sell IPOs worth Rs 9.11 billion.

. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has so far granted permission to 24 companies to issue ordinary shares (IPO). The board has granted permission to these companies to sell their ordinary shares till mid-April of the current fiscal year.

According to the Board, a total of 9 TAG_OPEN_div_10,11,87,946 units of ordinary shares have been permitted. Its value is Rs 9.11 billion. Among the licensed companies, 15 are hydropower companies.

A total of 103 hydropower companies are listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).TAG_OPEN_div_8 The number of hydropower companies that have been approved by the board and are awaiting approval is also high. Among the licensed companies, 7 are in the production and processing sector.

Among them, 18 are related to hotel and tourism, 32 hydropower companies and five investment companies. Similarly, 26 companies of production and processing, three of micro insurance and 14 of other groups.
