Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The government has decided to provide Rs 25,000 per family to the families affected by the removal of vulnerable settlements along the rivers in the Kathmandu Valley.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday decided to provide a lump sum financial assistance for the rehabilitation. According to the government spokesperson, Sasmit Pokharel, the amount will be provided to help in the management and rehabilitation of the displaced families.
