Kathmandu. The government has decided to table the bill designed to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 BS in the Federal Parliament. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday took seven important decisions including this decision, according to the government spokesperson.

Decision of the Cabinet Meeting:

1. To accept a grant of 6.116 million Swiss francs from the Swiss government for municipal revenue enhancement projects.

2. Accept a grant of RMB 79.36 million from the Chinese government for the maintenance and improvement of the Araniko Highway.

3. (a) To provide Rs. 25,000 in lump sum per family for the resettlement expenses by verifying the details of the people who will be displaced while removing the vulnerable settlements located along the rivers in the Kathmandu Valley.

(b) To provide relief amount of Rs. 15,000 per month per family of five members and additional Rs. 2,000 per month for more than five members at the rate of additional Rs. 2000 per month for more than three months, for the time being, to encourage them to make arrangements for alternative settlement themselves.

(c) To keep the old, disabled, helpless and unable to manage themselves and their families in the designated holding centers.

(d) To ensure the education of children and students and the guarantee of schools and health care facilities in coordination and collaboration with the local level.

4. To approve the Accreditation Rules, 2083.

5. Approve the Military Service (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2083.

6. To give permission to submit the bill designed to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 to the Federal Parliament.

7. To adjust and post the posts of Gazetted Special Class Secretary in accordance with the Government of Nepal (Division of Work) Regulations, 2083.
