Kathmandu. International Human Resources Day 2026 has been celebrated in a grand manner.

More than 250 HR personalities from various organizations and industries of Nepal participated in the program.

The event was attended by HR leaders, corporate representatives, academicians and industry professionals, which aims to honor and promote the changing work culture, human-centric leadership and the growing role of HR professionals in organizational transformation.

Addressing the program, President of Human Resources Society Nepal, Mohan Thapa said that this year’s international theme ‘Empower People to Lead Change’ is very relevant. He added that HR professionals are leading the change amidst challenges such as artificial intelligence, changing work styles, post-pandemic work culture and economic uncertainties.

Stating that HR professionals are not limited to just the role of supporting change, but are in a position to lead the change, he explained the shared vision of HR Society Nepal as a collective commitment to make the organization, industry and society human-centric.
