British Indo-Pacific Minister Malhotra offers prayers at Pashupatinath temple

Kathmandu. British Indo-Pacific Minister Seema Malhotra has paid homage to Lord Pashupatinath.

Officiating Chief of Pashupati Area Development Trust Culture Division, Arun Shrestha, said that the British Minister also paid homage to other gods and goddesses inside the main Pashupatinath temple.

After visiting the Pashupatinath temple, he received tika and prasad from the main archer of the temple, Ganesh Bhatta. On the occasion, PADT archeological officer Sushil Kumar Gautam briefed the Minister about Pashupatinath and its ancient monasteries and temples.

After visiting the temple, in the PADT’s visitor’s book, he said that he had got a very good opportunity to visit the temple and was blissful. PADT member-secretary Ram Bahadur Kunwar and other senior officials welcomed Minister Malhotra on the premises of Pashupatinath Temple. Minister Malhotra is on a visit to Nepal on Friday. He also visited Tilaurakot in Kapilvastu on Saturday.
