Dangol formed to study the border of Bajura and Humla

Kathmandu. The government has formed a committee under the coordination of Deputy Director General of the Survey Department, Sushil Dangol, to study the technical aspects related to the border of Bajura and Humla districts and submit a report.

A meeting presided over by Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal on May 23 decided to form the committee.

The committee comprises a representative each from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, and the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province. Similarly, the director of the Survey Department has been given the responsibility of member-secretary of the committee.

The meeting was attended by Secretary at the Ministry of Land Madan Bhujel, Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s press and research expert Deepa Dahal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Ananda Kafle, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Prakash Dahal, Director General of Survey Department Prakash Joshi, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Bhim Budha, Director of Survey Department Dayanand Joshi and Survey Officer Jyoti Dhakal. The meeting held extensive discussions on the issue and decided to form a committee.
