Kathmandu. The government has fixed the minimum support price of paddy.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today has decided to fix the minimum support price of paddy for the coming fiscal year.
Government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel said the government has determined the minimum support price of paddy for the fiscal year 2083/84.
With the government’s decision, the price of coarse paddy has been fixed at Rs 3,660 per quintal and fine paddy at Rs 3,860 per quintal.
