Moderate rain in some places of hilly region today

Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of westerly wind and local wind in Nepal as well as the low pressure area near the eastern part of Nepal. Rainfall occurred in some parts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley due to its influence.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces as well as in the mountainous and hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces towards the afternoon.TAG_OPEN_div_14
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain and snowfall at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of the mountainous and ÷hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.TAG_OPEN_div_12 Light rain will occur in one or two places of the Tarai region of Lumbini province. There is possibility of hot day in the Tarai region of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of thunderstorm at some places of the Tarai region of Madhes, Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, the weather will be generally TAG_OPEN_div_10 cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and mainly fair in the Tarai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Light to TAG_OPEN_div_8 moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of Koshi and Madhes provinces, and at a few places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Lumbini and Karnali provinces and at a few places of the mountainous region of Sudurpaschim province.
