Kathmandu. Out of 753 local levels across the country, 60 have completed the listing of farmers’ households.
The Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2082-2083 BS presented by Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives states that more than 23.83 lakh farmers were enlisted across the country as of mid-March.
The farmer listing program is being implemented to systematize the agricultural subsidy program by identifying the farmers separately, to formulate agricultural plans, programs and policies and to reduce duplication of facilities to the farmers.
