Kathmandu. The report carried out by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on September 7 and 24 has been made public.

A committee was formed under the coordination of NHRC member Lily Thapa to investigate the issue of human rights violations.

Stating that Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane was involved in sending prisoners out of jail during the agitation, the committee has also recommended a microscopic investigation keeping him under the ambit of suspicion.

The commission has also recommended the suspension of the incumbent police officers.
