Kathmandu. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chang Maoming paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav at the latter’s office in Lainchaur today.
During the meeting, matters relating to Nepal-China relations based on peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and long-term friendship, economic cooperation and future cooperation were discussed, according to the Office of the Vice President.
Appreciating the progress made by China in the past four decades, the Vice President stressed the need for Chinese collaboration in trade, tourism, infrastructure, energy and technology transfer between the two countries.
Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming expressed his determination to bring Nepal-China relations to a new height. Noting that China has accorded high priority to its relations with Nepal, he said he would continue to work for prosperity of the people of both countries.
