Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A total of 26,680 candidates have been selected for the scholarship recommended by Kathmandu Metropolitan City for grade 11 and 12. Out of 26,888 applicants, the forms of 208 students have been rejected.

According to Ram Chandra Khadka, education officer and member secretary of the examination board, the system through which the students had applied. Admit cards can be obtained from the same system. The admit card mentions the examination center and the responsibilities to be followed by the examinees. Khadka says, “The admit card should be color-printed. Explaining the reason for printing the color, he said, “We have implemented the system of color-printing the admit card in the name of the students who want to study under the scholarship quota so that others will not be allowed to take the exam.” ’

The metropolis has started conducting the examination to provide scholarships to the schools running classes 11 and 12 in the KMC area by making a policy decision from 2080 BS.

This year, the scholarship selection examination will be conducted on May 30 for the scholarship study in class 11 and 12 in institutional educational institutions.

Candidates can download the admit card by logging on to the official portal of the metropolis at entrance.nepal.gov.np. To log in to the site, you have to enter the SEE symbol number in the username. After this, the page opens by entering the date of birth and the password received through email or message.

The admit card must be printed in color. Admit cards printed in black and height or without clear photographs and details will not be recognized. One has to bring the admit card along with the official identity document (SEE admit card, school ID card or citizenship certificate) while coming to the examination center. Candidates must follow the rules and codes of conduct related to the examination mentioned on the back of the admit card. If the rules are violated, the examination will be canceled and action will be taken as per the prevailing law.

The Department of Education has already completed orientation for the center heads to conduct the examination. Fair and fair examinations should be conducted. Instructions have been given to facilitate the students not to create panic so that they do not feel that the examination is a complicated process and to give uninterrupted answers to what they know. Education Officer Namaraj Dhakal said that the students have been requested to provide clear information about OMR procedure.

The ward-level committee recommends scholarships up to grade 10. For the scholarship quota of class 11 and 12, the Department of Education conducts an examination and recommends it on the basis of the results.

After the examination, the list of merit order is published. After this, the name is recommended from the matching list. The recommended students will not have to pay any kind of tuition fee in class 11/12.
