Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Poudel has said realizing the goal of good governance, development and prosperity by strengthening accountable and pro-people service delivery through the federal democratic republican governance system was the need of the hour.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the 19th Republic Day today, President Poudel pointed out the need of collaboration among all levels of government, private sector and civil society to achieve social justice, economic prosperity and inclusive development as envisioned by the constitution.

“I appeal to all political parties, civil society and all concerned to contribute from their respective areas to build a civilized, cultured and civilized society by keeping Nepal’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, national unity, independence, national interest and self-respect intact,” he said in the message. ”

We have been celebrating Jeth 25 every year as the Republic Day by the first meeting of the People’s Elected Constituent Assembly, which was established as a result of the long struggle and sacrifice of the Nepalese people.
