Kathmandu. There is possibility of cloudy condition and rain in some places due to the influence of the westerly low pressure trough and the local wind in the upper atmosphere of the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is generally cloudy in most of the mountainous and hilly areas of the country including Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces while it is partly cloudy in Tarai. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is taking place at one or two places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous region of the country including Koshi Province and partly cloudy in the hilly region including Madhes Province towards the afternoon. Weather in the rest of the Tarai region will remain mainly clear, it is predicted.

Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at a few places of mountainous and hilly region. Likewise, rain and snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the remaining mountainous region including Madhes.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the temperature will rise unexpectedly at some places of the Tarai region of Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of the country including Koshi Province tonight while it will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and in the Madhes province. Weather is likely to be mainly fair in most parts of Tarai.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of Koshi province, at one or two places of hilly and mountainous region of Madhes, Bagmati province and Gandaki province.

Likewise, there is a possibility of more temperature in some places of Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces in the Tarai region, so the weather has been requested to adopt precaution and pay attention to the updated weather update to be issued by the Division.
