IGI Prudential Insurance signs MoU with Nepal Police Football Club

Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance Limited and Nepal Police Football Club (NPC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the development of sports sector, enhancing financial security of players and employees and expanding institutional cooperation.

Chief Executive Officer of IGI Prudential Insurance Company Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha and Additional Inspector General of Police of National Police Academy Siddhi Bikram Shah signed the agreement.

According to the agreement, the players, coaches, staff, and officials associated with the National Police Training Academy under Nepal Police will be provided services under the insurance scheme of IGI Prudential Insurance. In addition, Nepal Police Football Club will also be provided financial assistance which will contribute to the club’s sports activities, player development and institutional strengthening.

Speaking at the event, CEO Shrestha said that it was a matter of pride for Nepal Police Club to collaborate with the historic and glorious Nepal Police Club and expressed happiness for being able to contribute to the development of sports sector by keeping the morale of the players high. He also pledged to continue the collaboration between the two organizations.

Similarly, Additional Inspector General of Police Siddhi Bikram Shah expressed gratitude to IGI Prudential Insurance and the entire team for their support in the development of sports and players.
