Kathmandu. At present, there is the influence of the westerly pressure trough and local winds in the upper atmosphere of Nepal. Light rain occurred in most parts of the country on Wednesday due to its influence.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country.

Similarly, thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, and at a few places of hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces as well as at a few places of hilly regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
