Kathmandu. The CT scan service has been shut down at the Civil Service Hospital in New Baneshwor.
According to the hospital’s officiating executive director Dr Rabi Prakash Sharma, the service has been shut down for the past six months due to the breakdown of the CT scan machine.
“The CT scan machine has broken down causing a lot of problems for the patients”, he said, adding, “The patients have to be sent elsewhere for CT scan”. More than 600 patients visit the hospital every day.
