Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: There is possibility of rainfall in most places of the country today as the influence of monsoon wind continues throughout the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

The weather is generally cloudy throughout the country at present. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is taking place at some places of Bagmati, Koshi and Lumbini provinces.

According to the Division, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country in the afternoon. Possibility remains for brief rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the high mountainous and mountainous regions. Moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region.

Tonight will also be partly cloudy throughout the country. Likewise, moderate rain along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of the mountainous region of Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces. Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and terai regions.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
