Kathmandu. The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has launched a special campaign to address the problem of tripping of power supply from time to time.
According to the Ministry, the problem of frequent power disruption during the rainy season has been put in top priority.
According to Energy Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha’s secretariat, the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has kept technical human resources and necessary equipment on standby round the clock to address the complaint.
The Ministry has shown further proactive action to make the electricity service regular and reliable by addressing possible problems that might arise due to the monsoon.
The Ministry has urged the consumers to contact the hotline number 1150 or 1151 free of cost in case of complaints related to power supply.
