Devotees throng Pashupatinath temple since early morning (Photos)

. KATHMANDU: Devotees have thronged the temples and shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva across the country including Pashupatinath since early morning today.

All the four gates of the temple were opened since 3:00 am today, said Tirtha Shrestha, member-secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust.TAG_OPEN_div_38 He said that the devotees have come to the temple since early morning to pay obeisance without even caring about the rain.

Arrangements have been made to facilitate hundreds of thousands of devotees visiting the Pashupatinath temple to pay homage and worship in an easy, safe, dignified and well-managed environment, said PADT member-secretary Shrestha.TAG_OPEN_div_31 The four gates of the temple which opened from 3 am will be opened for the devotees till 8 pm after the evening aarti. The special puja will be held from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon.
