Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold a meeting with the office-bearers of the Nepal Readymade Garment Industry Association at 11:30 am today.
The meeting will be attended by Pashupati Dev Pandey, First Vice-President Basanta Raj Adhikari, General Secretary Bhim Kumari Giri, Chief Executive Officer Suyash Khanal and technical advisor Prakash Kumar Jha.
The discussions would focus on the current status of readymade garment industry, problems faced by the industry, production and export promotion, employment generation and overall development of the industry.
The Prime Minister has been continuously interacting with the private sector, industrialists and stakeholders in recent days. In addition, they have been taking suggestions on the problems they are facing, ways to solve them and policy reforms and giving necessary instructions to the bodies concerned for implementation.
