Kathmandu. Newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to Nepal, François Puig-Inza, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal. Ambassador Puig-Inza called on Minister Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

On the occasion, Minister Khanal congratulated Ambassador Puig-Inza on his appointment and wished her a successful tenure.

During the meeting, various issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation between Nepal and France were discussed. During the meeting, the issues of cooperation in the areas of aviation, climate change, scientific research and multilateralism were given priority.

The two sides also exchanged views on matters of common interest as well as to further strengthen bilateral relations.
