Janakpurdham. Former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Nepal Police, Govinda Kumar Sah, has lamented that he was cheated.
He said that he was cheated after he came to know that someone else had taken a loan of Rs 40 million by remortgaging his land in the bank.
Security personnel Sah of Videha Municipality-8 in Dhanusha district and currently living in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-2 have filed a complaint at the police after they came to know about the fraud.
According to former SSP Saha, in 2079 BS, he had taken a loan of Rs 990,000 from an acquaintance and mortgaged 5 kattha and 13 dhur in the name of his wife of Tinkauria of Videha Municipality-6.
According to former security personnel, Sah filed a complaint of fraud after the man made various pretexts to pay the principal and interest of the loan and return the land.
Police have arrested Gopal Sah, his wife Rekha Kumari Sah and their son Hareram Sah on the charge of cheating.
