Kathmandu. Security has been tightened in various districts of Madhes Province and Koshi Province as per the directive of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Surveillance through drones has been intensified, especially in sensitive areas.

The security agencies have stated that they will take legal action against anyone involved in disturbing social harmony and religious tolerance, spreading rumours or acting against the law.

The administration has appealed to the citizens to maintain peace, restraint and social harmony and not to indulge in any misleading information or provocation.
