Eight-point agreement reached with Ganesh Yadav’s family: Home Minister Gurung

 

Janakpurdham. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has said that an eight-point agreement has been reached with the family of Ganesh Yadav, who was shot dead in Golbazar, Siraha.

Last night, Home Minister Gurung reached Yadav’s house in Tulsiyahi of Aurahi Rural Municipality in Siraha after a meeting of the District Security Committee in Lahan. According to the Home Minister, an eight-point agreement was reached in the meeting with Yadav’s father, mother and relatives.

Minister Gurung shared that the meeting agreed to the demands of an impartial investigation into the incident put forth by the families of the deceased, action against the guilty, compensation and guarantee of free education to the family members of the deceased. “We have also agreed to provide free health treatment to the father and mother of the deceased and provide employment to their family members,” he added.

Expressing commitment that there would be no weakness in the investigation into the incident, Home Minister Gurung said action would be taken against the culprits.

Ganesh Yadav was shot dead at Golbazaar on July 30 while protesting against the incident at Dewangunj in Sunsari.
