Curfew lifted in Rajbiraj and Bodebarsain

Rajbiraj. The District Administration Office of Saptari has lifted curfew in Rajbiraj and Bodebarsain municipalities and imposed prohibitory order in the district.

A meeting of the District Security Committee today decided to impose prohibitory order in the area as per a notice issued by Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa.TAG_OPEN_div_23

The prohibitory order has been imposed in both municipalities prohibiting gathering of more than five people, assembly, procession, sit-in and demonstration until further order.TAG_OPEN_div_21

The administration has urged the general public not to violate the prohibitory order issued in accordance with Section 6 (3A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028.TAG_OPEN_div_19

According to the notice, the area up to Khando Khola in the east, Jamuni Thalahi along the Postal Highway in the west, Basbitti Chowk of Rupani Road in the north and Koshi West Main canal in the south has been designated as a prohibitory zone.TAG_OPEN_div_17

Likewise, prohibitory order has been imposed in the area up to Khadak Bridge along the Postal Highway in the east, Pritampur Chowk in the west, Negada Chowk in the north and Manraja Chowk in the south.TAG_OPEN_div_15

The District Administration Office (DAO) has urged the general public to remain patient and cooperate with the decision of the administration to maintain peace, security and social harmony in the district.TAG_OPEN_div_13
